Core Beliefs

The One True God: We believe in One God–God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three, The Holy Trinity, co-exist in one Godhead.

The Sacred Scriptures: We believe the Bible is the Word of God verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the infallible rule of faith and conduct.

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, the express image of God in human flesh, who lived a sinless life, was crucified as our sin substitute, resurrected, and is now seated at the right hand of God.

The Unity of the Saints: We believe the unity of the church is vital and crucial. It creates a pleasing atmosphere where God’s Spirit will manifest and dwell, and is a positive, inviting example to our children and guests that God is among us.

Man’s Need for Personal Salvation: All men, great and small, have sinned and are separated from God. Man is sinful and has a sinful nature. Man cannot save himself through good works or behavior. Since no sin can enter heaven, man’s only hope is by trusting in the shed blood of Christ alone for salvation.

Divine Healing: We believe divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel and comes through prayer, anointing with oil, and faith in the Name of Jesus Christ.

The Personal Work of The Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit within the believer justifies from past sin and sanctifies our character from wrong living to a holy lifestyle pleasing to God. A second distinct and definite work upon the believer, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, empowers and equips for service.

The Second Coming of Christ: We believe in the Christian’s hope – the soon-coming, personal return of Jesus Christ. All men will be resurrected. The wicked will be judged and the righteous ushered into God’s eternal kingdom.

The Power of Unified Praise: We believe when saints come together in the spirit of unity, forgiveness and praise the Holy Spirit is enthroned, dwells among, is increased and ministers among unified believers.

The Favor of God: We believe when man lives obediently, holy, and humble before God with a priority upon pleasing Him in all arenas of life, God will cause favor, blessings and guidance to come upon that man and prosper him.

Ever-Increasing Faith: We believe believers must take deliberate action to ever increase faith. Jesus taught “as your faith is, so be it unto you.” We are given a measure of faith (Romans 12:3). Without faith, man cannot please God (Hebrews 11:6). Faith comes from hearing God’s Word (Romans 10:17) and building yourself up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit (Jude 20). Without action, faith decreases. With action, faith increases and can move mountains.

Personal Evangelism & World Missions: We believe in the Great Commission and emphasize witnessing and supporting mission activities around the world.

The Principles of Stewardship: We believe in and obey God’s principle of Biblical tithing and giving offerings. As stewards, we wisely manage and give of time, finances and possessions while trusting God for His divine provision.
