Who Attends Lighthouse Prayer Center?

We are from many walks of life and denominational backgrounds. We are business owners, students, retirees, secretaries, construction and factory workers, school employees, professionals, executive assistants, mechanics, investors, military, housewives, truck drivers, accountants, etc. We are of various faith traditions: Baptists, Methodists, Assemblies of God, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic, Charismatic, Church of God, Lutheran, and others who have had no Christian background at all. Our common ground is we have a passion to know God and are committed to being a congregation united in love.

What to expect?

Our services include a variety of music from energetic, upbeat celebrative style praise music blending to the awesome, intimate songs of worship, thanksgiving, and adoration. We worship God wholeheartedly.

You will be amazed at the genuine acceptance and the welcome to belong as you join in worship. Jesus taught, “They will know you are my disciples by the way you love one another.” That is our goal!

Your faith will be challenged, your burdens lifted, and your trust in God increased as anointed Bible-based messages touch you in a compelling and relevant way often with a challenge invitation bringing you to a one-on-one time of dedication with God or prayer time with a carefully selected, highly trained and confidential prayer counselor, if desired.

What to Wear?

You will discover the atmosphere at LPC is a warm and welcoming worship environment where an array of dress styles can be found. You may see everything from jeans, business attire, and professional casual. We want you to feel comfortable and modest in whatever you choose to wear and focus instead on the faith filled teaching of God’s Word and entering His presence through worship and praise.

How Do We Worship?

We invite you to join in on a dynamic worship experience that will change you and draw you closer to God. Our worship is vibrant, enthusiastic, and passionate while at other times is may be more worshipful with quiet waiting – all for the purpose of bringing us into the presence of our Lord. Our music styles are blended traditional, southern gospel, and contemporary. Even though we try to select favorites that people enjoy, our primary focus is to select music that increases the Holy Spirit’s presence in our congregation. God has made us with differing personalities. As we worship in as spirit of unity, we should remember that each of our expressions of worship to God are reflections of our individual personalities and should not bring undue attention to ourselves as we worship together collectively. People have worshipped various ways throughout the ages. Here are a few scriptural expressions of how to enter worship:
