What Brings A Lasting Sense Of Joy?

John Wesley said, “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”

More and more, we must focus on how important it is that the love of God be evident in our lives in all means possible!  Do you feel the same way?

When we are honest with ourselves, we realize that it is not the large events or the many different tasks on our checklists that bring us the most satisfaction.  I ask you to genuinely ponder this question.  “What truly brings a lasting sense of joy to my heart?”

As you ponder that question, I believe that you will discover it is the life-changing impact you make on others by your loving actions and deeds.

Please take a moment to contemplate John Wesley’s words.  Make it a personal goal to find meaningful ways you can “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”

Reflections from Last Sunday

87% of people who do not go to church say that they feel ‘judged’ by people who do go to church.  In Matthew 7:1-5, Jesus tells us
not to judge others.

Let’s see people the way Jesus sees them and extend a “welcoming” attitude for them to enter our lives, our church, and God’s Kingdom.
