Searching For An Answer?

Are you searching for an answer to a difficult situation or circumstance?  Or, do you need direction to specific changes and challenges in your life today?  Meditating upon Proverbs 4:11-13 gives a clear answer for these types of situations.  It leads us to the obvious, yet crucial question, “Have we asked God for wisdom?”

All of us know to do it.  Yet, many times it becomes one of the last things we do.  Explore with me verses 11-13, as so thoroughly explained in the Amplified Bible.

I have taught you in the way of skillful and godly Wisdom, which is comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God; I have led you in paths of uprightness. When you walk, your steps shall not be hampered; your path will be clear and open. And when you run, you shall not stumble. Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go.

You can make forward progress today in your difficulties and challenges!  Here’s what will happen when you ask God.

  1. 1.      You Will Get God’s Skillful Wisdom –which is comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God.
  2. 2.      You Will Experience Results–(a) unhampered or unhindered progress–your path will be clear and open (b) you will not make mistakes, i.e. stumble

So here’s what you need to do right now!

  1. 1.      Ask!
  2. 2.      Listen!
  3. 3.      Take hold of the wisdom God speaks and how He directs you and Do Not Let Go–regardless of pressures.

I challenge you, do not wait!  ASK God now for wisdom.  In James 1:5, God promises to give you wisdom generously whenever you ask.
