Your Victory is at Hand
Earlier this week, Alisa shared a great encouragement with me. She read to me Proverbs 21:31 which says, “The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.” Instantly, I knew this was a word to share with you today. Do you need a victory today? Do you feel as though it is beyond your strength or ability to achieve? If so, here is some wonderfully encouraging news for you! You may need to do some preparing, but God will win the battle!! And…when He wins, He gives His victory to you because you are a joint-heir in Christ!
Never allow circumstance or perception to defeat you by convincing you that, not only is the battle too big but, it is even useless to prepare. I love the way the TLB expresses Proverbs 21:31. “Go ahead and prepare for the conflict, but the victory comes from God.” Your victory will most assuredly come! Therefore, “Go ahead and prepare!”
Your victory is at hand and ready to be delivered. However, you must take action. Take ahold of your horses! (so to speak) Whatever it is that you must do to prepare, jump to it and prepare! Once you are prepared you will quickly discover that the victory is already won! The victory is the Lord’s and He is searching the earth looking for those who are prepared and living righteously before Him that He may show His strength through them, their lives, and their ministry!
