Go Beyond the Beginning
God powerfully challenged us last week with a powerful word. Indeed, our world can and will be miraculously changed as we allow Him, the One who is unchangeable, to enter our lives! It is never too late to experience the remarkable changing power of God. It is never too late to enter into the fullness of life promised by Christ.
Consider these two words, “Beyond Beginnings.” All of us have known what it is like to have new beginnings in our lives: the beginning of a job, the beginning of a school year, the beginning of a relationship, the beginning of a marriage and a family, and, most importantly, the beginning of a new life in Christ. But, do we realize what it is like to go “BEYOND” beginnings?

How often we wish for another chance
to have a fresh beginning,
A chance to blot out our mistakes
and change failure into winning.
It does not take a new year
to make a brand new start,
It only takes the deep desire
to try within your heart.
To live a little better
and to always be forgiving
To add a little sunshine
to the world in which we’re living.
So, never give up in despair
and think that you are through,
For there’s always a tomorrow
and a chance to start anew.
Some people never move BEYOND the beginning. You will experience Christ’s promise of an abundant life with each step you take BEYOND the beginning. Your promise of a greater tomorrow will come to fruition as you step BEYOND the beginning today!
Jeremiah 29:11 is another promise of living BEYOND the beginning. “I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope.” GW
